I went to visit my parents last winter. It was a late and cold night, they went to bed but I didn’t feel like sleeping just yet. I went to their living room and I saw a sudoku booklet on the table. I felt cheap getting free sudoku from them, but I thought I’d buy them another one the next day.
I opened the booklet and I noticed that half of it was done already, and none of the pages seemed worn out either. I was surprised by how good my parents were at solving these puzzles, and I enjoyed to bask in that thought.
I sat down to solve it myself, it was surprisingly easy at first. But then the puzzles became harder, I was having trouble finding the answer. I decided that it was time to sleep after a while, I managed to solve three at most. I went to bed, leaving the booklet in its original place.
