My friend Alwin once bought a supplement which he told me was the best fat burner. When he mentioned th word “fat burner,” it was obvious that he was aiming for weight loss. But I was wondering why he wanted to take fat burners instead of choosing to live an active lifestyle. Alwin has been overweight for more than five years, which is why I was curious regarding his motives. But since Alwin is a smart guy, I assumed that he would do the right thing.
It’s been more than five months since I last heard from him. I haven’t seen any updates from him on Facebook as well. Then I received a shocking news from Aunt Helen that her son Alwin had passed away. When I was told the news, I was speechless for several minutes. At that point, I wanted it to be dream. But it was very real. After two days, I went to the funeral home to visit Alwin’s wake. I talked to his mother as well.
According to Alwin’s mom, it was the supplement that killed him. I wasn’t really sure if his mom was talking about the one Alwin claimed to be the best fat burner. The doctor said that Alwin had succeeded in losing some weight since the product was indeed effective. However, Alwin increased the dosage without the doctor’s approval which was the reason why it killed him.
